Meet Our Students and Teachers

Christiana Wright

Hello. My name is Christiana Wright. My family and I live in Karamoja, Uganda and we have lived here for about eleven years. We are working for the OPC (Orthodox Presbyterian Church). I am almost 12 and my favorite color is dark purple. I like to knit and I also like to read. My favorite books are probably the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy.

Unlike two of my sisters I have long legs.  I am 5 feet 3 inches. I have blonde hair and greenish blue eyes. My mother (Martha) is a linguist and a teacher. My father (Bob) is a engineer/contractor.

Bye.

P.S. My email is kipsy.wright@gmail.com

My name is Mary Wright. I live in Karamoja, Uganda. My parents brought me here when I was 2 years old in 2000. I'm now 13. You can do the math yourself. We have teachers volunteer to come and teach us every year. It's pretty cool. I really love living here in Uganda. It's a beautiful country. My favorite color is red and my favorite food is Ethiopian food. Life is good. :)

My name is Anna and I am sixteen years old.
I and my three sisters and 1 brother have lived in Nakaale, Uganda since we were tiny kids.
I love cats and the color yellow.
I love to sing.
I love to laugh.
I love to read/write poetry and short stories.
Someday I want to go live with the San people of the Kalahari desert.
I have short legs.

Hi, I'm Bobby. I live in Africa, Uganda, to be exact. I have red hair, brown eyes and I'm 6 ¼ '' tall. I'm slightly random sometimes. Actually most of the time. We are here with the OPC. My dad is the engineer here so I help him out every day after school. I help with almost anything from shoveling dirt to drilling boreholes. It's pretty cool. I forgot to mention I'm 17. So.....

  4. Hey, was just browsing the internet to find nkaale on the map and found your website? We have met David Okken and I was just sitting here reading his article in the New Horizons magazine. I was trying to see how close y'all were to Entebbe because my son's girlfriend is going to be helping a missionary family in Entebbe from June-December of this year and I wanted to see if she could meet the OPC missionaries that are in Uganda. Is this a new blog that you have? I will have to bookmark you guys so I can check back! Are you guys on Facebook at all? I am Darlene Benoit if you want to look me up. I live in Texas and have 12 kids and 2 grandchildren so far. Look forward to hearing from you. God's blessings to all of you as you do God's work there. My son's girlfriend is also going to Kenya for a few weeks before she heads to Entebbe.
